The Neil Diamond band boasts two guitarists, Doug Rhone being one of them, an extremely talented musician, he learned both electric and acoustic guitars, where he states it needed some major adjustments for the acoustic guitar to have the same output as the electric guitar.
Doug joined the Neil Diamond band in 1976 after working as a session musician, he played guitars on the Bellamy Brothers hit, 'Let Your Love Flow'.
Doug hails from Texas, and aside from playing some delicious strums and licks, Doug is also known as the co-writer of a few fine songs, 'Love’s Own Song', 'Right By You' and 'Acapulco'.
Doug is the leader of the sporting endeavours of the band, and is the master of most, golf, ping-pong (table tennis), etc ...
His favourite food is Mexican, and he is also a keen film fan, where his favourite film is 'A Shot In The Dark' and his favourite actor Peter Sellers.
Musically he likes to listen to anything that keeps him awake whilst driving.
